Hello, and welcome to Juanamaria Elementary!

We are committed to the District’s promise to deliver an education that prepares students for a future in the world today. 

Hello, my name is Mike Askay, Principal of Juanamaria Elementary. It gives me great pleasure to serve our students, staff, families, and community in my role. You know you are at Juanamaria when you see students helping each other succeed by using their Dolphin HEARTs, in which we ALL work to Have a positive attitude, Expect success, Accept responsibility, Respect ourselves and others, and Think before acting.

You also see staff passionate about making a difference in the lives of students. We believe students can and will learn and thrive as we live out our commitment to providing a well-rounded education to all students, while collaborating with our entire Juanamaria community to help our students succeed through our dedication to excellence, commitment, and pride.   

Our school has been serving students since 1962 and has even been recognized as a CA Distinguished School.
